Red Orbital Smartbus Route 903

Red Orbital Smartbus Route 903 commences operation as of Monday 20th April 2009.
Routes 700 and 291 will be known as Route 903.Timetables are available from our Drivers , Depots, the Met Shop and our Web site.

Smartbus 903 Sunday Timetable Change

Ventura wishes to advise commencing Sunday 31st May 2009 that buses departing Box Hill Central will be departing 10 minutes later than the previous times between 11:40 AM and 4:40 AM when travelling towards Mordialloc.

New departure times are 11:50 AM, 12:20 PM, 12:50 PM, 1:20 PM, 1:50 PM, 2:20 PM, 2:50 PM, 3:20 PM, 3:50 PM, 4:20 PM and 4:50 PM.

Route 737 service alteration weekdays to Croydon

Ventura wishes to advise commencing Monday 30th March 2009 Route 737 weekdays
to Croydon change of morning departure time Fonteyn Drive and High Street Road from 6:26 am to 6:20 am. Also the 7:07 am to 7:01 am.

Extra morning services on routes 767 and 703

Due to increased patronage, we will be operating an additional Route 767 service from Chadstone Shopping Centre at 7:38 AM to Box Hill Central and also an additional Route 767 service from Box Hill Central at 8:28 AM to Deakin University.

There will also be an additional Route 703 Express service departing Blackburn Railway Station at 9:08 AM.

These services will operate School Days Only.

Proposed upgrade of Lonsdale St Melbourne Bus Stops

The Department of Transport is proposing changes to bus stops along Lonsdale Street in preparation for the introduction of the Doncaster Area Rapid Transit System (DART).

The Department, in conjunction with the City of Melbourne, has reviewed the bus stops along Lonsdale Street and propose the following changes to improve operational efficiency and provide more user-friendly bus services:
Consolidation of a number of stops along the street, including the removal of some stops and installation of new stops
Increase the capacity at each stop by doubling the number of bus bays
Allow all bus services to be available at every stop along the street.
